ABOUT
Lani Shea-An is an early-career artist based on Ngunawal and Ngambri Country (Canberra, Australia).
Her works are predominantly painting and collage. She creates work which is layered, ambiguous, and interwoven with personal histories, using landscape as a grounding motif. She draws from horticultural experience to explore questions of humans' place in and of the ‘natural’ world.
Lani holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Hons) from the ANU School of Art & Design, has exhibited in Australia and Japan, and has artwork held in public and private collections including the Drill Hall Gallery ANU Art Collection.
